Summer Internship
Now taking applications for Teen Interns for the Summer.
PLEASE NOTE: Teens who need hours for Give Me Five or other school/organization requirements are encouraged to take advantage of the Volunteer Days run by the teen department from September – April. Each time it is offered, 6th-12th graders can sign up for 1-2 hours of service. Volunteer days are limited to the first 5 registrants per day. Registration starts 30 days before each event and students can register using the online calendar.
Another opportunity is to join the Teen Leadership Council. Council members earn volunteer hours by helping the library plan and implement programming for other teens. The council meets monthly August-May with longer meetings in August and January. Council members are also the first people we contact when additional volunteer opportunities come up. Applications are available here.
