We have a meeting room for events with a capacity of 150.  Any events larger than 150 can be held within the library itself.

Requirements & Regulations

Requirements & Regulations

The following are prohibited (unless prior permission is obtained):

  • Fire - if you are using liquid fuel for chafing dishes, please check with library personnel first. Candles are strictly forbidden.
  • Tape, tacks, nails or ANYTHING that will mark the walls. The back wall has been painted with magnetized paint and light items can be hung using small magnets. Renters can use their own magnets or purchase them from the front desk. Marring, marking, or damaging the walls in any way WILL result in a penalty charge.
  • Use of generators
  • Grills
  • Use of space outside of the meeting room - excluding public restrooms.
  • **Anything that could potentially damage the meeting room in any way, particularly, but not limited to: walls, carpet, doors, counters, equipment, etc is prohibited.**

Before you leave the room you must:

  • Vacuum
  • Remove trash from all trash cans and place in dumpster located at the end of the library driveway - renters will need to provide their own additional trash bags. 
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean and all personal food and drinks are removed. 
  • If after hours, ensure that the bathrooms are in working order and clean of debris.
  • Return round tables to back closet if used.
  • Return computer cables to back A/V closet if used.
  • Return room key to Children's Department if used during library hours.
  • All personal items must be removed at the end of your rental period. No exceptions unless otherwise arranged with library personnel.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in additional fees.
